3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Our church hosts an annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the Port Barre city park.

Baptisms

Matthew 28:19, 20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Bible Study in the Park

During the summer months the church hold bible study in the Port Barre city park.

Dance Team

Serveral youth of the church express their love for God through dance.

Dedications

Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Elderly Support Projects

The church provides assistance for the elderly that is in need.

Family and Friends Fun Day

The first week of may of every year, the church hosts an annual picnic for church members, family, friends and people of the Port Barre community.

Greater Louisiana Baptist Convention

Every year members of the church, along with our pastor, attend the Greater Louisiana Baptist Convention (GLBC).

Men's Conference

An annual men's conference is hosted by the church for all men of the the church, community.

Men's Fellowship

The men of the church meet monthly to fellowhship with one another; being in fishing, bowling, eating, etc.

Pastor's Appreciation

Each year the members of our church appreciate our pastor and his wife for their dedication and service.

Parking Lot Services

Due to the Covid-19, it was not until October 4, 2020, that our church came together and began having parking-lot services. Prior to that Pastor Sylvester had vitural services on facebook. You can find us on facebook by searching "St Mary Missionary Baptist Church - Port Barre".
